School or Web Filter Blocking SeasonCast (SeasonCast Port Config)

Created by SeasonCast Support Team, Modified on Mon, 29 May 2023 at 01:27 PM by SeasonCast Support Team

SeasonCast requires special ports for broadcasting sporting events. SeasonCast has regional ingest servers for redundancy and proximity to broadcasters. The ports needed to whitelist are 443 (https), 1935 (udp & tcp), and 1936 (udp). We recommend if your filter system is capable of it, wildcard these ports at *.ingest.seasoncast.com. If not then select at least two regions from the list below to whitelist for redundancy. If you do not have access to network configuration, we recommend using a hotspot, or cellular connection if you are having connection issues.

Atlanta, GA
atl-2.ingest.seasoncast.com

New York City, NY
nyc-1.ingest.seasoncast.com

San Francisco, CA
sfo-1.ingest.seasoncast.com

Dallas, TX

dal-2.ingest.seasoncast.com

You can find an updated list of ingest servers on your SeasonCast dashboard

Still, having issues? Less common but can happen is SeasonCast normal API or Website URLs get blocked. We recommend not whitelisting these unless one of these issues occur as it is less common:

Login, Dashboard, and SeasonCast Website not working?

seasoncast.com (Website)

app.seasoncast.com (Main API)

api.seasoncast.com (Legacy API)

Scoreboard graphics not appearing?

app.seasoncast.com (Main API)

api.gametimebroadcast.com (Legacy API)

Scoring not working?

timeline.seasoncast.com (Stats API)

Team Sites not working?
