Live Stream or Recording is choppy

This issue can occur due to a low internet speed over cellular service or an ISP. SeasonCast will attempt to automatically reduce its bandwidth usage to address the problem. We recommend using speedtest.net or fast.com to check your internet connection.

To resolve the issue, you can try lowering the resolution from 1080p to 720p or even 540p. Additionally, ensure that your cell phone carrier offers good internet speeds in your area by checking the "Broadcast Settings" section.

You can also manually adjust the bitrate in the "Broadcast Settings" to potentially improve the situation. On iOS, you have the option to set the broadcast protocol to RTMP under "Broadcast Settings" as well.

If you're using a hotspot, please note that there may be a carrier limit in place that restricts the speed to 3G. Moreover, school or enterprise Wi-Fi networks sometimes impose strict speed limits on devices.

We recommend running a speed test to determine the limitations of your internet connection.

If the issues persist, please contact SeasonCast Support. We will assist you in adjusting the settings and enhancing the performance.
